This project involved the renovation of the Eastern Pumping Station located in Baltimore, Maryland, with the objective of reusing the space as a campus for businesses, food production, and food retail. The complex covers a total of 40,530 square feet and consists of (5) office sub-building structures.
Construction on the original complex, which serviced the city with drinking water from various reservoirs, was started in 1890 and continued though the early 1900’s. The structural renovation included the repair and replacement of existing roof structures, repairs to the existing concrete structures, replacement of stairs, new elevators, selective demolition, and new openings in masonry walls.
Construction administration services included shop drawing reviews and responses to contractor’s RFI’s.
