This project is part of a design-build project with the Baltimore Department of Transportation comprising Central Avenue Streetscape and the Harbor Point Connector Bridge Project.
The rehabilitation of Central Avenue and Harbor Point Connector bridge was completed in 2019. The overall project consists of storm drain reconstruction, roadway construction, and streetscape work along Central Avenue from Baltimore Street to Lancaster Street. The bridge will extend Central Avenue to Harbor Point, a 27 acre missed-used development located on the waterfront west of Fells Point and just south and east of the growing Harbor East neighborhood.
Our scope of work consisted of evaluating concrete structures for HS-25 loading, the design of infill for cavities under sidewalks, and new slabs over cavities in the sidewalks.
