Design-build project to allow the existing Piscataway Water Resource Recovery Facility to serve as the central biosolids processing site for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) system by including proposed Bio-Energy Facilities.
Structural engineering services provided for a number of proposed new structures including the Cake Storage Facility, a large open structure with concrete push walls and a pre-engineered fabric roof; the Cake Receiving Facility, a large inground vault with a pre-engineered building sitting above; and the Odor Control Facility, a building consisting of cast-in-place concrete foundations with precast concrete wall panels and hollow core roof planks.
Scope also includes the design of several exterior foundation slabs to support equipment throughout the site.
