The project consisted of upgrades to a 2 MGD Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Structural engineering design included the design of a weight station foundation, design of a pre-engineered steel structure on existing tank walls, modifications to wet walls, repairs to clarifiers, below grade stairwell, above grade stairs to clarifiers, platforms, pipe supports, and miscellaneous equipment supports. Structural analysis was performed using a finite element analysis software package, STAAD Pro.
Construction administrative services included review of shop drawing submittals, response to contractor’s requests for information, conduct monthly construction meeting, prepared meeting minutes, reviewed applications for payment, and inspected construction.
