Albrecht Engineering provides support as the onsite engineer, with the goal of ensuring conformance and compliance with the Modified Consent Decree (MCD) for Baltimore City’s sanitary sewer system entered on October 6, 2017. This decree is a settlement, approved by a federal judge, which formalizes an agreement between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the State of Maryland – Department of the Environment (MDE), and the City of Baltimore.
Provided engineering services for the rehabilitation of Baltimore City’s Sewer System. Assessed condition of and recommended rehabilitation for sewer lines and manholes per NASSCO Standards. Performed field work involving evaluation of site work conditions and location of buried manholes. Created, manipulated, and queried data via Microsoft Excel & Access. Prepared construction documents using AutoCAD and ArcGIS. Performed manhole inspections. Reviewed and analyzed post-rehabilitation inspections including CCTV videos, inspection forms, grout logs, boiler logs, and wet-out logs, and prepared as-built plans.
